Title: Dual Location Cameras - Mobile Router/Modem
Post by: msiminiuk on January 30, 2013, 04:54:43 PM
I thank you in advance for reading my (probably not so technical) question, before I go ahead and buy four of these cameras.

What I am attempting to do, is buy four (4) of these cameras, but have two (2) at my recreational property and two (2) at my home property. My recreational property has a mobile internet modem/wireless router in one (NETGEAR MVBR1210C) without computer, and my home property has your typical highspeed internet with wireless Dlink router and computers.

My questions are (from your experience)

1. Can I set up the cameras to work off the mobile wifi at the recreational property without a computer present?

2. Will I be able to see all four cameras within one login on 'MyDlink' Access.

If it is a simple remove camera from box, tell it what wifi its to send feed to set it and forget it, that would be great! Just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t have any issues completing this.

If anyone has anything to let me know, watch out for or warn me about, please fire away.

All thoughts and input are appreciated.

Thanks again, Matt
