Firmware Upgrade
« on: April 19, 2019, 04:16:26 AM »

Hi my DCS-8300lh (which I installed yesterday) has stopped working correctly
1. motion and sound detection / writing to the cloud has stopped. All was well up until the firmware update v1.04.02 occured. Is there an issue with this revision. 2. The mydlink app seems to display my automations randomly. Sometimes they are there sometimes they aren't?

Camera displays fine and I can connect remotely but just no activations...?

Anyone else have any issues?

Firmware Update:

If the issues started after a firmware update, it's possible that the update introduced a bug or compatibility issue. You can try reaching out to the camera manufacturer's support or checking their official website for any known issues with the specific firmware version.
Consider contacting the manufacturer's support team directly to report the issue and inquire about any available firmware updates or patches that may address the problem.
Motion and Sound Detection:

Ensure that the motion and sound detection settings are properly configured in the camera's settings. Check if the settings were inadvertently changed or disabled during the firmware update.
Try resetting the camera to its factory defaults and reconfiguring the motion and sound detection settings from scratch.
Cloud Storage:

Verify your cloud storage subscription and check if it is active and properly linked to your camera
waterproof deck Utah. Ensure that you have enough storage capacity remaining.
If the issue persists, contact the camera manufacturer's support team to troubleshoot cloud storage connectivity and functionality.
Mydlink App:

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the mydlink app. Update the app from the official app store if a newer version is available.
Clear the app's cache or data and then restart the app to ensure a fresh start.
If the automation settings are not consistently displayed, try reinstalling the app and reconfiguring your automations.
For specific and up-to-date support regarding your DCS-8300LH camera and the mydlink app, it's recommended to reach out to the camera manufacturer's customer support. They will have access to the most accurate information and can provide you with tailored assistance for troubleshooting and resolving the issues you're experiencing.
