DNS343 - Mac compatability?
« on: June 25, 2009, 06:30:50 AM »

Hi

Question:

I have a DNS343 with 4 1.5 TB HDs running RAID 5. The NAS is accessed by both a PC and Mac. When it is viewed from the PC, i can see the NAS box showing 4.5 TB free space, so all is fine.

When i view the NAS drive from the Mac, it shows up as only having 23 GIG of space available. I tried to copy more than 23 gig across onto the NAS from the Mac and it stops and tells me the disks are full.

Any suggestions?

thanks

What OS are you using? I am using 10..5.7 and I see 2.7 TB left of 4 TB.

Would you share your network login path?
10.4 isn't that different from 10.5 on the network side. I don't have access to a 10.4 system.
