Can't identify Hard drive size - script crash
« on: March 14, 2015, 09:16:43 AM »

Seems like this forum is dead, but I'll try anyway.

I too, along with a lot of other users on this forum, cannot get the DNR-202L setup.  The install script fails right after trying to determine the hard drive size.

Ive tried the various different installers (zip'd, non-zip, exe, etc) from another thread:

Tried Dlink installer -  get script error at "SETUP HD" (cant determine size, script error)
Tried WINRAR -  get script error at "SETUP HD" (cant determine size, script error)
Tried the EXE link in thread -  get script error at "SETUP HD" (cant determine size, script error)

So nothing works.  Even tried a MAC and a new hard drive.  Same error.   And the ip address it assigns to the DNR is low (05) so thats not to blame.
My blue light is lit... but it blinks in a specific pattern (ex. 5 blinks, 3 blinks, etc)

DOES DNR stand for DO NOT RESUSCITATE??  Since this is a dead end product?

No one has replied to the previous thread, so i thought id start again.

Factory reseting DNR fixed the issue.  (Pin hole)
