video samples/qualitly
« on: September 06, 2011, 09:46:04 PM »

I'm considering using this cam as a live cam pointed across the street to a beach and ocean view.  Would it produce a decent video if used for this purpose?

I've been looking around for some sample video from this cam but so far no luck.  Does anyone have some sample sites I could log into to see the 930l in action?

Thanks,
Jim

I uploaded a sequence of jpgs ftp'd by a DCS-932L (night/day, else very similar to 930) to :
       http://cellier.info/DCS-932L_Test/index.php

Click on the first image at the upper left then click "next" at the bottom of the page to advance.

I'll leave them there for a few days only.

This is visibly NOT studio lighting! The camera is currently being tested, before being put in an operational position. But maybe the pics will give you an idea of what to expect (640x480 is not high res; exposure control is pretty good).
