I have configured multiple IP addresses in a switch DGS-1510 (DGS-1510-28/L3 Features/IPv4 Interface). How can I set the management interface to one of these addresses? I have not found any information about this in the user manual or in the CLI reference.
Thank you very much

I know for my DGS-1100, I can set any IP address for the switch, i.e. 192.168.0.11 and I use this to get to the switches management page. I presume this can be done for the 1510 as well. Just find where to set the switches default IP address and use that for your management page address.

Thank you for your prompt reaction.
This is exactly what I expect and is in line with my experience with the switches of the DGS-1210 series.
I have configured several VLANs with IP addresses on the switch:
- VLAN 1 with the address 192.168.1.10
- VLAN 10 with the address 192.168.10.10
- VLAN 20 with the address 192.168.20.10
- VLAN 30 with the address 192.168.30.10
The management interface is currently located at 192.168.10.10.
I want to move it to the address 192.168.1.10 on the default-VLAN.
So far without success I have tried the following steps:
- I have searched for a configuration possibility for the default address of the switch in the GUI and the CLI.
- I have searched the GUI with different browsers.
- I searched in the current configuration for a definition for the current management interface address to overwrite it.
- I have set the management interface to 192.168.1.10 with the GUI-wizzard. The wizzard finishes its work without errors, but the management interface remains at 192.168.10.10.
Only if I disable the address 192.168.10.10 on the switch, the management interface changes to 192.168.1.10.
Obviously i did not understand something here?
Thank you very much.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Link> Tech Support Contact Information (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=635.0)
We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

from the D-Link support:
Since the DGS-1510-xx is a Layer 3 Switch, there is no dedicated option for Management VLAN/Interface.
All IP Interfaces (Addresses) can be the management, as long as they are reachable.
this is true and help!
thank you
