Can we get back Filtering MAC by Wireless/Wired/Both?
« on: January 19, 2008, 10:30:37 AM »

A request, I can deal if you guys think we do not need more than 24 clients under MAC Address filtering, but could you please, please return the option to choose if we want to filter wired/wireless/both? Having this option greatly decreases the need for adding everything on my media sharing network, when all I want to do is filter wireless MACs. The way it is you are forcing me to add every MAC on my network and I have more than the 24 allowed.

I may be in the minority, but this feature existed before, why remove it?

Another item for the wish list:

- A more complete MAC Address table. Could you guys please at the very least let us add a name alongside the MAC address being filtered? It is terribly difficult to keep tabs of who's who with only the MAC being displayed. Thanks!

I agree on both points, I will forward the request to our PM department.

I agree on both points!  It seems like a step back for the DGL-4500 considering that both of these features were on my DGL-4300.  Highly annoying on this new model.
