Samsung TV not recognize USB when it's reinserted
« on: October 02, 2020, 11:10:14 AM »

I am having an issue where on a couple of newer Samsung TV's that won't recognize the USB media (the one with the Penguin Icon)  whenever I take it out and reinsert it.

My FW is 1.11.  Disconnecting the Samsung TV network and reconnecting the network seem to solve this issue.  Is there a better solution?

I dont have an issue connecting the USB via Windows.

I am using the USB to share media so the kids can watch school lessons in 4K on the big TV without the lags and using up data.

I'd contact the TV mfr to see if there is any additional help and information there.
Be sure the TVs firmware is up to date.
Connect the USB storage device directly to the TV.
