Title: Backup Copy CI En29lv640b NAS DNS 323
Post by: oliveirahalisson on May 15, 2019, 04:27:36 PM
Hello,
I have a NAS DLINK DNS 323 rev C stopped because of this defective CI / EEPROM En29lv640b, however I got a new CI but I do not have the data to write to this eeprom.
Could someone provide me or sell these files? No problem with paying (paypal, etc), I have my box stopped and I urgently need to resolve this.
I'm happy for any help,

Regards,

Halisson

First thing, how good is your soldering ability and do you have the necessary equipment to remove the old unit and safely install the new one?

In many ways it would be much safer for you to recover your data from the disks, get a new unit and then restore your data.  I also hope you marked which slot the disks were in when you removed them even if they were setup as a RAID 1 array.

I assume you are aware that the EEPROM is a 3.3v unit and will require a voltage shifter to allow you to write to it from the programming computer.
