Can't find the wifi I want to login in.
« on: December 15, 2019, 08:51:01 AM »

Hello, I bough the d link dap 1610. I was in the middle of configuring etc etc. When I reached the page where I was needed to select which wifi I want to conect to, the wifi I use with my laptop and phone, was not on the list of the WiFi. Is there a reason why the dap1610 cant "see" the wifi I want to login?
I also tried manually to login entered the username and pass and it says the password is incorrect (BEFORE YOY SAY CHECK THE PASSWORD, the password is for sure the one I put.)
Thanks in advance.

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at the sticker under the DAP.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the DAP and the main host router? ## Feet.
