By default filter unknown multicast traffic
« on: February 25, 2022, 04:20:54 PM »

Hello,

DGS-3630-28PC
Boot PROM Version    Build 2.00.002
Firmware Version    Build 2.25.018
Hardware Version    A1

Under L2 Features -> L2 Multicast Control -> Multicast Filering Mode there is a default entry "Forward Unregistered Groups":

With this setting all unknown multicast traffic will be routed to all ports. Instead I want to filter away all unregistered multicast traffic.
How can I remove this default and replace it with "Filter Unregistered Groups"?

Answering my own question: Select VLAN ID 1 which seems to be the default VLAN and select "Forward Unregistered Groups" and the default will be changed to "Forward Unregistered Groups".
