You can manually set a channel too and sometimes is preferred if you have other Wifi routers in the area. Find a channel thats open or not being used.

Ok I set it to channels manually for both routers channel 6 and 11 and also tried 1 and only this router is still acting and telling the computers that connect to it has limited or network access and I believe there might be a bug or issues with this firmware 5.10 version with H/W E3 Revision.

Maybe someone can review your router settings with you using teamviewer.

Strange I just got and setup my new DIR-515 Rev A1 can't find the "Mixed 802.11g/n mode only" and can only find "Mixed 802.11n/g/b or 802.11n only modes" was this is left out by mistake can someone from D-Link please fix or please explain this I have this "Mixed 802.11g/n mode only" on my other two routers DIR-615 Rev B2 and E3 and not on the DIR-515 come on D-Link make things consistent with basic features and settings like this and could be easily corrected or modified with a simple firmware update I mean seriously this is annoying and I hope D-Link changes, modifies, or at least  decide to take action to fix this as soon as possible or look into this I hope someday soon for the DIR-51X-61X series owners and finally gets the firmware updates and fixes it deserves are in the testing or in the works for better firmware quality and consistency across the neighboring families of product models.

rev A is an early model and probably didn't have Mixed G and N when they developed it. Most A units have probably gone past End Of Life as reb Bs came out with QoS and Mixed G and N mode options. Mixed G and N modes wasn't a standard option in the beginning.

I believe the DIR-515 is a new model and cheaper entry level 300mbps class 802.11n router like the DIR-615 and it only has one hardware version and that is A1 so lets not assume so quickly that I just purchased an obsolete/discontinued model already and has it was released I believe fall 2011 and has the 802.11n final specification and not the draft 2.0 specification and is also certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance also.

The 515 might be set up that way and not have Mixed G and N modes. You'll have to ask D-Link about that. Might be some marketing plan or other uses for not having it. Honestly, I would probably investigate a different model router for your needs. D-Link makes many models to choose from and they all work well and do as designed for specific needs.
