This app does not offer push notifications unfortunately.

I don't know of other D-Link apps for "business" cameras that will offer push notifications. I really haven't tried any 3rd party apps that may work with this camera. Maybe other forum members do.

From what I was told, D-Link apps do not support PUSH notifications. Just motion and audio detection notifications via email and notifications that appear on the Notifications display on iOS/Android while using MyD-Link Lite app. The Red dot will not appear on app icons for D-Link apps.

There's a new MDL app available for iOS/Android:
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=597.0 (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=597.0)

Still only does email and Notifications to the Notifications area only. No red dot on the app icon though.

The new mydlink app is for mydlink products only. I wish they made something similar for business class cameras....

The camera itself can send you an email if motion, sound, or if the camera reboots but nothing directly to your phone/tablet. I know not the same but it is something :)

Hi joakim ( and the rest of the forum)
I have practically the same rig as you except that instead of two i have 10 dcs 5020 cameras on the dnr2020. On lan it all seems fine, but on wan from an iphone, i am sorry to say that just connect is simply not good enough ( no mosaic view and poor streaming)and i would at least need to view the same as i do when i ip the dnr2020. With the iphone i can actually access the dnr page but the streaming live cameras or any h264 streaming is not available. This is an iphone 7.

Any ideas? Thx in advance
Javier

You might want to try D-View Cam with your configuration.

Something you might contact your regional D-LInk support office about.

The DNR-2020 is not sold here in the USA.

That appears to have changed recently.  I like the idea, but running cabling to this box is going to be a problem.  I guess it won't be required.  It's just an option.  At least it is gigabit.

Interesting. Sounds like there in some competition then. I install a similar item in to my aunt and uncles shop years ago. Was a Swann system.
