DCS-5020L Linux firefox and h264
« on: August 20, 2016, 04:43:48 AM »

Hi,

I'm having trouble using h264 live video with my new dcs-5020L using firefox on linux ubuntu (using camera web interface). MJPEG is working just fine (video & PTZ control), but as soon as I try to switch to h264, I'm only having a blank video and PTZ controls are not working.
I have up-to-date java8 from oracle.

Does anyone has encountered this issue ? Is there a way to fix it ?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Does this happen on a Windows PC by chance as well?
