Title: What is the normal Speed for a laptop ?

Hi!
I have the standard settings on my wireless network.  See the link below.
I have 100/10 mbit/s at home and my wired desktop computer gets 95/18,5 mbit/s
How much should my laptop get? I have a HP 1090eo with vista and it supports 802.11n

If you want to use wireless with 11N only, change encryption settings to WPA2 only and AES !
Highest internal speeds I achieve here are up to 130 mbit/s.

yeah but when i change the setting then it comes a message that says...

You should examine these warnings, because some features may have been disabled or modified.

Changing wireless security settings may cause Wi-Fi protected Setup to not function as expected.
Some configuration changes have an effect upon other system settings. Those changes may impact in a negative way, raising warnings that need to be communicated to you. A warning may indicate a feature has been modified, or even disabled, to match the new operating conditions.



Is it recommended to do this ?
