What i am wandering is if there is a way to turn this router into adhoc mode so that i can plug my xbox into it and get internet from my wireless router that is in a nother room.

No. The WBR-1310 lacks that capability.

The networking device you're looking for is a wireless ethernet bridge, which is often marketed as a wireless gaming adapter or wireless ethernet adapter.
