Title: DNS-323 vs. DNS-343
Post by: netmation on July 08, 2008, 10:30:24 PM
Other then Raid 5 and ability to handle 4 drives compared to 2, anyone know what other differences there are between the DNS-323 and the new DNS-343.  Does the 343 have more advanced FTP capabilities?

DNS-343 has EXT3 filesystem and UPS support, DNS-323 does not have either feature.

DNS-323 has constantly visible drive status lights.  DNS-343 has a screen saver that flashes "D-Link" to prevent display burn-in.

ECF,
According to the box the 323 came in, the product specs on D-links web site, the documentation that came with the unit etc...  the 323 is supposed to have Scan Disk utilities as well....

When is D-Link going to fix this broken functionality in the 323?  Or is D-link going to fix it on the 343 like they did on the 323?

Regards,
BSPvette
