Moving from WEP to WPA
« on: July 01, 2009, 04:01:36 PM »

In the DAP-1522 setup, it shows WPA-Personal. Is this WPA2 or just WPA? Does it make a difference. The router has both WPA and WPA2. I am using this as a wireless bridge, if that matters.

WPA-Personal describes any WPA-PSK mode.  The other option here would be WPA-Enterprice for a WPA-EAP mode.

It will depend on the device you are connecting the dap-1522 to. If it is a D-Link router, some suggestions are to put it at WPA2 and AES cipher
