Files/Directories lost
« on: February 25, 2015, 10:04:12 AM »

I am using my DNS-320 Rev A for a copuple of years already, so far I am a happy customer.
Since yesterday I am observing irritating problems, which concern me very much.

- I am using two 750MB disks (same model)
- I have installed since some while Twonkey server on disk 2
- Until 1 hour ago I used firmware 2.03, now upgraded to 2.05

I am accessing the NAS from my Win 8.1/64 PC - mapped the disks through the Windows explorer

I am downloading video files from the PC directly to the NAS.

Problem
While deleting a few files on the NAS (from Windows explorer), and before manually copying the new videos to another disk in my network (this is what I regulary do), yesterday and today, a couple of files resp. a whole directory suddenly disappeared. The files appear to be completely lost. I have no clue what has caused it.

Any suggestion?

Regards, Andreas

Does the used vs. free HDD storage indicate that the files were removed or is the same space consumed?
