DHP-1320 Adapter question
« on: October 03, 2013, 03:38:50 PM »

I was wondering, could I use two DHP-W307AV adapters independently to support two separate devices, or do the W307 need to pair together to work?

I would prefer getting one pair of W307 to getting two W306 adapters due to current financial strains. Any help is appreciated

I would review the D-Links web site for any information regarding stand alone use. Most of the power line products do need a pair to work together. However there could be a model that maybe independent.

I would also phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask about this for a more immediate response.

Please let us know if you find out anything...Good Luck.

My model numbers don't match those quoted, but I think it's a similar set up (DHP-1565, DHP-307AV/B pair). Each of the adapters is attached to an independent device, giving access to an internet connection from the DHP-1565 router.
