Cannot connect to an ERB 2310. Trying to use as a Wireless AP
« on: October 15, 2010, 06:34:46 AM »

I am trying to setup my WRB 2310 to work as a wireless AP for a ERB 2310.

The Wired router connects to the DSL modem and has internet connectivity with no issues.

I have read the manual pages and tried all kinds of combinations. Staring with the standard UPnP disabled, DHCP disabled, change router IP to a free address on the Wired router. Also tried AP mode.

What is seems to come down to is that, for whatever reason the WRB 2310 will/can not see the wired router. it shows the link is there and not broken, the cable is know working good. But after resting this things about 10 times and trying over and over, it cannot see the ERB 2310.

I will be upgrading from firmware 1.04 to 1.05 tonight, but I really don't think that would be the overlaying issue.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt
