Try this - Zerotier One
https://www.zerotier.com/admin.html
Hi vtverdohleb,
I already tested in my DNS-325 Zerotier, but it doesn't work with private NAT IP.
Everything works with Softether, I can access all ip of my home network, except my Nas. :'( :-\
Thanks

This forum attended by texas_72 gives a pretty good explanations why it failed to connect to Nas IP.
It seems the problem lies within linux internal kernel codes rather than with the SoftEther VPN

Hi texas_72,

I may have found a solution to our common problem to access our private NAT IP.
Do the followings:
Create a new Virtual Hub, Create as many users as you wish.
Under "Manage Virtual Hub", click on "Virtual NAT and Virtual DHCP Server(Secure NAT)", Click "Enable SecureNAT"
Check the "SecureNAT Configuration", you will notice the default Distributes IP Address is 192.168.30.10, default gateway 192.168.30. 1 (This is fine).
You may exit from here.

Next, ***********very very important**********
Do Not create "Local Bridge" for this Virtual Hub............

All done. It works well for me.
Upon logging into virtual hub, my assigned ip was 192.168.30.10. I managed to access my private NAT IP at 192.168.2.1 and view every other network folder.

Hi all, I spent hours with this without success.  Can anyone write here how they did if they got lucky?

I have the server running on the NAS.  The configuration page works.  I created users/password.
I even created a cert/private key using the built in vpncmd tool.
I don't know if I need to do anything else on the sever. Updating the config?  SHould I set a reference to those cert & private key somewhere?

On the client side, I'm using Android with OpenVPN client and I can't get to connect.  What options should I use?

Any other solution would be great too: You use a different VPN server? Different client?

I have OpenVPN server installed on the NAS too, but something, I can't get it to work.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Hi jy_p,

It will be a huge learning curve. Softether's forum doesn't offer much help either.
However, 3 quarters of your time could be reduced if you install "Softether VPN Server Manager for Windows".
Sofether works well with Iphone & PC client although I have less luck trying it on Android probably due to the fact it doesn't accept password authentication.
If I were you, I ditch OpenVPN for good. Softether's Client & Server work better on your NAS.
In so far, I managed to turn on SecureNat; Layer 3 Switching; Layer 2 Bridge Connection; Cascade Connection; L2TP protocol, OpenVpn, MS-SSTP protocol; IP routing, Split Tunneling; Tunneling of Virtual Hubs at 3 remote locations, password authentication & Individual authentication certificates. I am looking at installing radius server authentication in the near future.
Softether works well for people who do not own broadband account and has no control over password-locked wifi router. It could tunnels thru all kind firewalls easily & securely.

Hope this helps

It is a great Add-On, I hope vtverdohleb could supply us with the latest  VPN Build 4.14. I can never find time to do my own compilation since my DNS-320L don't support Debain Wheezy.
@ vtverdohleb, my Softether add-on crashed the 3rd time with no good reasons.

@ vtverdohleb

I have got 4 units of DNS-320L & 2 units of DNS-320(Older NAS) running on Softether VPN.

For the DNS-320 part, I copied and paste all Softether files into root directories, run a chmod and follows by sh start.sh start.All work.

My question now is that if I download and paste the latest version and build of source codes from Softether into the following folders.

Will it works?

Listed below are the relevant paths and folders:

Will it works?

Are there any binaries for ARMv5te? I fully compiled from source code.
If you have an existing binaries, you need to replace the vpnbridge, vpnclient, vpncmd, vpnserver и hamcore.se2

So, it will work if I replace all of them.

Thanks again  vterdohleb

I replaced all of vpnbridge, vpnclient, vpncmd, vpnserver и hamcore.se2 (v4.14-9529) .
Don't seem to work.

The files i have appear to contain path rather then binaries. See below

vpnserver
#!/bin/sh
/opt/vpnserver/vpnserver "$@"
exit $?

vpnclient
#!/bin/sh
/opt/vpnclient/vpnclient "$@"
exit $?

vpnbridge
#!/bin/sh
/opt/vpnbridge/vpnbridge "$@"
exit $?

vpncmd
#!/bin/sh
/opt/vpncmd/vpncmd "$@"
exit $?
