Title: Dlink DCS-942L does not work with MAC.
Post by: bettybop7200 on November 10, 2012, 07:53:45 AM
The company has a glitch that they are not sure if they will fix so you can't record with mac.  I am unable to return my cameras to staples and Im out the money for the memory cards I opened.  It says you can record with MAC clearly on the box!!!!  Bad business practice for STAPLES and DLINK.  FALSE advertisement. Completely illegal.

What OSX version are you using?
How are the cameras connected?
Using a router or network switch? If so, what make and model is it?
Did you call DLink about this? What was said?

Please give us more details about this. Maybe we can help you find a solution.

The DCS-942L records directly to the onboard memory card, which is independent of the PC/Mac used to access the camera.

Still curious about the setup though...
