DSL-2750U Latest Firmware
« on: February 07, 2015, 06:48:57 AM »

I just bought DSL-2750U D-Link Wireless N 300 ADSL2+ Router. Location: Delhi, India. It is working just fine. However, the current firmware it is showing as IN_1.02 with current version date as 03/14/2014-20:00:31. I looked at the D-Link site http://www.dlink.co.in/products/?pid=452 for the latest firmware and found IN_1.10 available with date 8/23/2011.

I am confuse as which one is the latest firmware for this model and should I install IN_1.10? Please advice. Thanks.

We recommend that if your modem is working well. Do not upgrade it.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Ok Firstly the IN.1.10 FW is for the hardware set C1 which Broadcom chipset.
I have IN.1.08 on my U1 Hardware which is Realtek Chipset.
Check your HW version and only upgrade if you have impending issue.

I have DSL 2750u c1 router. It has the latest firmware IN_1.10. But i don;t like it;s GUI, too much complicated. IN_1.02 is much simpler.
Moreover i am not able to add new pppoe connection for Joister ISP.
i will change the firmware. But not sure which one .....

I'm not sure if there is a downgrade option for this modem.  I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

2750u u1 firmware version 1.11 has been removed from D-Link website and older firmware version 1.09 has been replaced for download. Why?

We don't have access to that information here in the forums. I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I compiled the D-Link 2750u U1 Version 1.08 (RTL8676 Chip) for India using the open source Dlink has put on the Taiwan site.
I am not sure if I can put it here for everyone to use
