Is my camera hosed?
« on: July 25, 2015, 02:23:36 PM »

Please check out this image:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/m73l7o97dtk5w4h/dlnk.jpg?dl=0

Looks like its looking through frosted glass.  Camera lens was inspected.  Seems fine, no sign of water.  Tried fooling around with various settings ... saturation, light levels.  Not much change.  932L.

Any ideas?

Was the camera outdoors?

It was (and still is) outdoors under an eave.  Used to be clear as a bell.

This model camera is an Indoor camera, not out door:

Specs:http://us.dlink.com/products/home-solutions/cloud-camera-1100-daynight-network-cloud-camera/
Setting

    Indoor

Moisture and other outside thing may have effected the lens and internal workings...

First failure of 8 (same model) all installed 6 months ago, 4 in the desert, 4 in the Midwest.  This was/is located in the desert.  The least expensive outdoor camera is 3x more.
