Title: wireless 11g stats
Post by: hawk62 on January 03, 2011, 03:43:10 PM
Hi all.I'm new to routers, set it up for son's ps3 to get online. At the moment, both pc and ps3 are connected to router by cable.I noticed in stats page of router that wireless 11g packets are being transmitted.Since both are hardwired,Just wondering if that's normal or a sign that someone might be using my connection.I've implemented settings for security,so,just thought i'd ask. Thanks from a router noob.

Check your log file to see.  If you see high numbers and/or think the connection is active then go to the "status" tab and hit wireless in the left column. If something is displayed write down the MAC address.
You can block the offender by this..
