2 units at the same network

is it possible to use 2 units at the same network to see and record 18 cameras?

DNRs don't support but only maybe up to 5 or 6 cameras I believe at a time.

Furry, have you been told by D'link to say 5 or 6 cameras because the DNR-322L is advertised as recording 9 cameras . I'm here to tell you I have tried 9,8,7,6 and 5 and it will only do the 5 with any success.

Even if you turn down the frame rate on everything?
Maybe your storage device isn't fast enough?

I think amount of connected units is based off of frame rate, I presume if you set ALL cameras to a low frame rate, the more cameras connected should work. The higher frame rate, fewer cameras wouldn't only be connected.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. Reference this forum thread as well. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
