The DCS-931L FTP setup for images is the same as that of the 930 & 932, that is there is NO apparent control of frame rate other than geography (distance to the receiving server).
PLEASE now with the greater processing power & memory, add specific frame rate control for FTP of images!

Needs to FIX the image breakup cited in http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=55316.0
As noted in one of the replies, this also happens in the 5010 camera.

Good news. At least one user of the new v1.03b08 firmware has reported that this latest firmware has corrected the image artifacts that caused false motion detection triggers in earlier firmware versions.
If you installed this latest firmware, please post your findings! ;)

Please add control to FTP file saving options. For example overwrite on motion sense only saves 1 clip. I would like to save 1 day or 7 days. This would help make it a better security web cam.

Given that Java's security certificates have been revoked by World + Dog, so that neither Fire Fox nor Internet Explorer (and probably every other browser out there) cannot display live video on a DCS-931L, I would like to see the firmware not require Java in order to display video in a browser.
