Setting it at 2Mb gives the router and modem some head room. It's ok to set it over. The modem and ISP service will still mange the speed.

For ALL Other devices, make sure you have them all collected in sequence for IP addressing, so if you have say 5 devices, not counting the PS, your first device should start at .100, then the next device at .102, all the way up to .105.

Now your beginning Local IP address will start at 192.168.0.100 the TO Local IP address will end with .105.

Ok so find out what the ip addresses are if one is 192 168 0 100 n one with highest last three digets being 192 168 0 110 those would be to and from local ip range for all other devices. Theres couple laptops, ps3, cell phone , does that matter? And all other numbers and ports protocol will be same as ps4 ?

I looked at someones cell for ip address it was 192 168 0 103         and i tryed getting it off someones laptop i was told to press start and type d something and then type ip config in little black box and enter, it gave me 192 168 0 101. But when i typed whats my ip in search engine it gave  198 84 152 194. Which would it be for laptops? Will it always  start with 192 168 0 , ive still gotta get it from another laptop and a ps3

I just checked someone else's laptop and did the dcm in seArch then ip config and it said ip v4  address is 192.168.1.132.         Then default gateway said 192.168.1.3.      So is thats the ip address for that laptop . Why is it 168.1.132 instead of the 168.0.? Would that be the ip address I need

Thats probably due to the main host router not using the same IP address pool as D-Links.

The guy i that had diffrent ip address uses wifi accross the street as well he switches between , maybe he was connected to the one accross the street while we did the dmc ip config thing, is that possible or would that matter. The router we have is d link . So should i try doing the dmc ip config again making sure its connected to our wifi during it? Or can i use that ip address

Just re checked it was connected to this router and ip address was the same. Does that make sense, can I still put that ip address in the router  , would i just put it in the to or did I do it wrong or something.

We only have one router . When I connect to the WiFi accross street I get the 1 instead of 0 as well. So when I checked again on his laptop I looked like he was on this WiFi and still was getting the 1. Will it not work if its wrong or is not wrong, because he's one of people who does stream movies so it needs to work for him having lower priority . But everyone else's is 0 not 1

If we go into router setting where it says everyone's mac address wouldn't it say the ip address to or no. And do I have to have a rule for all othwr devices for it to work? I just wanna make sure that I address with 1 is right or wi work because hes the main one who streams , downloads

So do I have to make an all other devices rule for it to work or can I just put my ps4 at high priority? If not will that ip address work

Can you draw us a diagram of how this router is being connected?

Example, ISP modem or host router? IP address>DIR-810><PS4

Only think you need on your side is 2 rules, one for the PS4 and one for ALL other devices.
