How to setup email notification for Outlook
« on: December 10, 2014, 04:25:34 PM »

I have tried tirelessly to get this setup.  I am using outlook.com as my email recipient & sender.  According to the Microsoft site AND the configuration I am using to download email into my local email client, the SMTP server is:  smtp-mail.outlook.com with port 587 or 25 and SSL-TLS.

I am unsuccessful in getting a test mail to send.

Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.

Did not work for me too. Probably related to how Microsoft deals with these emails.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
