Title: Can not access config nor change correct time
Post by: rhoemer33 on January 02, 2016, 05:49:14 PM
Installed the new FW 1.07 and now I can't access the config page and try to get the correct time to display. Actually I couldn't access it for quite a few months now, so last FW also. Did Dlink do something to close access or something? How else can I adjust the time (of course syncing on the app doesn't work, still 1 hour off)?

ipaddress./eng/mainFrame_debug.cgi?nav=Status
is the link that used to work before. Any ideas?! Thanks

As of v1.04 (or therabouts) they removed most of the web config pages. It was actually in the firmware notes as part of the update, due to supposedly being a security risk... wonder how secure that makes my other 6 dlink cameras since they all have that same webconfig...

Oh thanks Axiste. Don't suppose there is any way of downgrading back to that FW then?! The main 2 things that I used it for was to actually get the correct time to display (always 1 hour ahead) and to make it a static ip. So when I have to reset my modem it wouldn't change the ip address every time, as I use another app to monitor with because the Dlink one is crap. Wouldn't be a way to do either of these 2 things would there be?! Thanks

You should be possible to downgrade. You can download firmware here: http://support.dlink.com/productinfo.aspx?m=dcs-825l

After making the required changes, you can upgrade again to be able to use the mobile apps.

If you just want to change the time, you can also sync the time with your phone.

Is there some way to extract the files from the 1.03 firmware, without installing it and ripping them with Telnet access?
I've made a small nodejs proxy that forwards all requests to the webcam, but serves the static XSL, JS and CSS files from a local folder. Those are the files that are currently missing from the firmware, but the cgi's seem to be all there!
