fighting low frame rate 2330L vs 2132L
« on: November 23, 2018, 10:18:17 AM »

Hi guys,
Ive got a number of cameras around the house (2 8000h, 2530L, 2330L, 2131L, 2x 932L) and most of them work Great.
But Ive been fighting my 2330L for years. I always just assumed it was a setting or something, as it streams to my synology server, and had it set up to change formats and such as a way to save bandwidth as it detected motion. However, I recently changed that and its driving me nuts!
In the app it shows I get ~5-10fps, but really I dont see that. I get a lot of skipping / jumping of the OSD clock, xx:xx:02 next frame is 04, then 05, then 07, then 10.. so 8fps it is not. Ive got 94 in the signal quality when i connect to the IP, but it just stinks.
however, the 2131L I have basically inside the window the 2330L is outside of, WORKS PERFECTLY. its like flawless 15-20fps, looks smooth. same network, save streaming to synology server. Same bandwidth settings (1280x720 @ VBR:Excellent).
Im about to ditch this one and get the new model, or go Wired to see if I can get better video. Ive tried to adjust the antenna, and reset the device.
Anyone run into this and find a hickup or something that might be causing it?
