Quick Time Server Ports
« on: December 10, 2009, 05:16:46 PM »

I have a Quick Time Server set up listening on 192.168.1.215.  It uses TCP port 554 and 7070 which I have set up in Virtual server to redirect to 192.168.1.215.  It also requires TCP 8000, 8001 and UDP 6970-9999 which I have set up in Port Forwarding to also forward to 192.168.1.215.

Using QuickTime player if I use rtsp://192.168.1.215/mymovie all works OK.  When I go to mydomain.com/mymovie nothing plays and the log shows this many multiple times:

Port forwarding ALG failed to allocate session for UDP packet from 255.255.255.255:6971 to (mydomain.com ip's address):6973
[INFO]   Thu Dec 10 17:42:51 2009   Dropped packet from 192.168.1.215 to 255.255.255.255 (IP protocol 17) as unable to create new session
[INFO]   Thu Dec 10 17:42:51 2009   Dropped packet from 192.168.1.110 to 255.255.255.255 (IP protocol 17) as unable to create new session

I don't think it's a QT server issue as it was working before I changed to the 655 last week.  Any suggestions?
