Title: DIR-867 Bridge config help, please
Post by: bobbyladou on December 30, 2018, 12:45:28 PM
Hello,

I have a double NAT notice on my XboxOne. The website says to turn my router into a bridge. Cool. But, I am struggling to do this.

My setup is Xfinity brand new modem and wifi tower thingy. My DLink is wired directly to that piece of equipment. There an Xbox in a separate room that wifi's into the network through the Dlink. This is the problem piece with double NAT. My kid cannot use party chat on the Xbox games with his friends. So, we are talking super tragic conditions here.

Please, would you walk me through this process to turn the DIR-867 into a bridge.
?

This model router doesn't support bridge mode...

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

You can't do anything with the modem, you can make the DIR router in to a wireless only AP:

I also faced the same problem. I have been using Xfinity router and when I faced the problem at that time I reset the router but after resetting xfinity router login (https://routerguide.org/xfinity-router-login/) not working. I thought it was authentication user-id and password and also checked but there was no fault. I was so frustrated about that problem. If anyone has any solution then suggest to me.
