delay for dhcp request
« on: December 27, 2013, 11:58:45 AM »

I want to be able to power up my cable modem and my router from the same power bar. As it is now the dhcp request or unicast will fail because the cable modem is not ready. This requires me to reset the router.

It would be nice to have a delay option for dhcp in the admin tool.

Link>Welcome!

You just need to make sure that you power ON the 601 router after the cable modem is fully ready…You could also reboot the router from the routers web page too, under Tools/System when the cable modem is ready.
