Dear D-Link support and community,
im running a server (raspberry pi) from home and i can access it within the local network via ssh.
From outside i didnt manage to access it. I set port forwarding from the router to my server for the port 22, but this didnt work.
I then set up ssh to listen on port 2222 and set port forwarding for that port, with the same result.
(interesting: ssh requests via port 22 take ages to fail, while those via port 2222 fail instantly regardless of the port forwarding options)
I went on my setting up an apache webserver to more easily test availability. Within the local network i can access the page, but not from extern, even though i set up port forwarding for port 80.
What i found out while trying that is that the routers admin interface is accessible from the outside! That shouldnt be the case right? Im a bit puzzled here. Can anyone help?

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=49573.0)
- What region are you located?
What D-Link product do you have? Router? Model#?
Possible that the router your using doesn't have loop back support.
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

Thank you for the quick reply.
Im currently living in Italy.
The ISP is infostrada.
I guess what i have is a Modem-Router combination.
On the back of my router is written:
DSL-3782_A1_Wl_20160623
Is that the identifier you asked for?
I can give you the ip in a private message, if you think it would help.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Link> Tech Support Contact Information (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=635.0)
We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
