Can you use HA with DMZ in transparent mode on a single port?
« on: November 05, 2012, 06:22:24 PM »

Can you use HA with 'DMZ in transparent mode on a single port' while using NAT and vpn on another port?

Here is the setup I want to implement.

http://www.fuzeqna.com/sonicwallkb/consumer/kbdetail.asp?kbid=5979

I want to be able to VPN into the firewall either on the primary or the backup device in a HA Setup. Then be able to access the servers on the internal management network(10.51.10.1-10.51.10.254)[port X0]. On the DMZ [X2] I want to have transparent DMZ so that I have IPS protection for servers that will have their WAN NIC's set to a public IP address.
