DAP-1360 as swip repeater
« on: October 14, 2013, 05:38:24 AM »

Problem:
I have available a protected wifi access but is limited to one user. My idea is to connect to this SSID through my DAP-1360 set as wisp,  "log-in" and redistribute the internet connection different SSID's set in DAP-1360 and then connecting this second SSID with multiple devices sharing by sharing primary SSID. Is it possible?

I think not possible. I understood, but not sure, that all my devices will see the original SSID and the function of wisp repeater is to "hide" the IP of each device and let the AP think there is only one device / IP connected.

Is it so? If yes I can I be sure that my devices are connected to my DAP-1360 and not to main AP?

Help?

Thank you Andrea

Link>Welcome!
  • What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at sticker under the DAP.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
