No, the DNR. No router reboot has been performed since I put it online.

As of right now my DNR is showing online with the MDL services.

Well after the reboot the other day, my DNR is still online with the MDL service.
As in rebooted your router?

My disconnects have returned despite reserving an IP address for the DNR 202L. It's getting annoying. I am trying to pinpoint whether this is a router issue or a device issue or a mydlink issue. None of my cams disconnect when the DNR disconnects. To bring it back online I need just unplug/replug the LAN cable. Even if it does disconnect shouldnt the DNR have the ability to reconnect by itself?

Update: I have 2 DNRs and both disconnect. As other report the same problems, I realize it cannot be a router issue. Unless this problems went unreported prior to recently it seems to be a problem with mydlink?????

I unplugged my dnr 202l last night and put it in a different port.  In a few minutes it was back online.

This morning, it is one again offline.

I'll look for a reboot device page in the web ui tonight.

That is exactly what happens to me. I have also moved the LAN cable plugin to a different port. Everyone has a different router. We all have the same DNR 202L with the latest firmware and we all use mydlink. I really think that eliminates the routers as a cause.

I also get some cam disconnects. And the IP address changes despite having reserved one for the cam. But this only happens on a specific cam. The cam itself doesent seem to disconnect (or it reconntects  itself). However after each disconnect I need to manually add it back to the DNR 202L. This cam is far from my router so that might be a cause.

My camera remains connected, however it uses a static IP address as well has the DNR.

ok - I issued Settings->System->Reboot Device.

The DNR 202L came back online through the app.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.

[Update]
it is offline again.

Its got to be a MDL issue. Ive tried everything. Also whenever my DNR goes offline on MDL i can still acess it thru 192.xxx.x.x adress. And it takes me to the advance setting page where i can see both my cameras and they are online and acually still recording..Yet when i use MDL its offline apparenlty

Hello, I'd like to chime in that I'm experiencing this issue also. (Firefox and Windows 10 user)

Rebooting/unplugging/updating firmware have not worked. I'll also mention that that firmware was patched to fix a known issue with playback in Firefox yet it has not worked. I have never been able to access the recorded footage and urgently need to be able.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. Reference this forum thread. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email. Ask for escalated support if needed.
Let us know how it goes please.

BTW you can access it but keep in mind when it goes offline from MDL I think you are no longer recording. Look at your available playback. I find that that section of time is missing ie there were no recordings when it disconnected. Plus you are logging in directly to the DNR within your network. If you were remote then you would be out of luck. These are all flaws and problems with the DNR.

I just found this on D-Links FB page:

I have looked, and I'm recording.

Although I have set the recording to continous in the web UI.
