Video stops after a few minutes of use
« on: June 01, 2013, 09:32:00 AM »

Hi all,

I'm having a lot of issues with my DCS-2132L

- video stops streaming after a few minutes. Web UI still responsive, audio still streams, video refuses to stream. software reset does not fix anything, requires a power cycle. After a power cycle video comes back for a few more minutes and issues repeat. all other functions appear to be working

- on board event recording records corrupt video files, either via schedule or motion (to a network drive), i've set max file size to 5mb yet it records only 1.xx mb and is corrupt, the event log that gets written into txt files in the same directory also shows significantly more events triggered, however no recordings for either of them, not even corrupt ones.

i've tried updating the firmware (running 1.01.09)
numerous factory resets
disabling as many features as i can
wired connection and wireless
4 different routers both dlink branded and non dlink branded, both over LAN and via the mydlink site
video refuses to stream either via the web UI, rtsp, or via any of the following end points
/ACVS_H264.cgi
/video/mjpg.cgi
even the static image fails /image/jpeg.cgi

any ideas?

this has got to be buggiest product ever.

Thanks
