I've just been sent a new Wireless 'N' DIR-615 from Virgin Media,
as an upgrade from an older Netgear Wireless 'G' router as I use
a new Apple MacBook Pro.

Installation was easy, I simply switched everything off, unplugged
the old Wireless router and plugged in the DIR-615. When switched
back on, everything worked fine and my Mac connected wirelessly
to the Net etc just the same as the old router, without the need to
enter any settings.

My only problem is, the Wi-Fi connection is open un-protected to
the public and i'm not sure how to change this setting? My old router
gave me the option of changing the router name and password to gain
access.

If anyone could help me out with the situation, I would be very
grateful.
