Title: ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID in Chrome with DIR-615
Post by: terryturbo on March 12, 2022, 07:27:50 AM
I am helping a friend who has a DIR-615 and is having a strange issue where they cannot use Cisco Jabber. The Jabber client gives a certificate error when attempting to connect to loginp.webexconnect.com. So I tried to connect to that site via Chrome and I encountered a ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error (an example is shown below). When they use their iPhone to tether for Internet access everything works fine.

I have tried various steps:

Any ideas on what else I can try? Recognize this is a legacy router so they should just go out and buy a new one but thought I would try and see if there were any ideas here. Just strange it only happens via the DIR-615. I didn't think it would interrupt SSL traffic.

Thanks!
