I have downgraded as low as 1.01 but still having the same issue.

hi

I have done also the upgrade to the last fw 1.05 with limited access aswriten in their release note
3. Remove .... for security concerns.

with downgrading to my favorite fw 1.03 I can access all!

maybe you need to reset your camera and then update to your favorite fw.

What are your issue ... what you like ?

Hi FurryNutz, this is a last ditch effort

I have a corrupt firmware DCS-825L (Australian)

the previous owner had put the US firmware on it which was stopping my from connecting to the device and the app would tell me to update the firmware but it would always fail

i managed to get into the device admin page and i started updating the firmware but as the app was trying to update at the same time i panicked and powered down the device and i think now ive wiped the firmware

i have been able to do the hard reset but can not access the device in Windows (10) and i dont see it on my phone either

any ideas for flashing via CMD prompt?

/EDIT

i have also tried these but to no avail

Emergency Recovery Mode
If this fails then the camera is probably fully bricked.

Not sure about that region. Is this region nearest to AU? You might phone contact D-Link support in AU and ask what they recommend.

Oceania is just a region of countries over my way

My guess is they would want me to buy local and pay $189AU as opposed to $60USD from amazon

Well I do recommend buying in your region and what is officially supported by your regional D-Link support office. Not only for operation however for support should it be needed will be handled correctly. Cross regional products are not supported.
