Motion detect not working with DNR-326...

Hi all,

I have a DCS-6113 and a DNR-326 - motion detect is setup on the camera and I can see the red box appearing around the detection area when movement is seen.

On the DNR-326 I have the camera working and visible  -  but it will not record when motion is detected.
It's only able to record video when I switch it to full time recording.

Any ideas what is wrong?

Ok managed to get the firmware update page to work....
Why hasn't DLINK even tested this?!

Anyway..  when click upload firmware - I get a 404 page , tried IE 7 9, 10 and 11 all the same.
It's having issues opening the following page: http://<cam-ip>/cgi-bin/admin/upgrade.cgi

So tried the upgrade again.. had a 404 -  opened a new browser and pasted in the URL above...
Upgrade is progressing...  fingers crossed that this fixes motion detect.

Nope.. still not working right.
FW did not update.

Motion detection appears to be working on the camera - yet the NVR does not seem to notice and records nothing.

BTW... there is no SD card in the camera.. do I need one ?
