Title: 2750U Power light amber cannot connect to internet

hi, i have a 2750U from India and am havng problems connecting. Power light flashes amber when turn on then rests solid amber. Unable to access 192.168.1.1 Not power cable have tried with other cable and still orange. Firmware maybe? I bought it 2013 so not sure loading the 2011 firmware from India site will help.

any suggestions most appreciated!

Id have someone check the power adapter to see if the voltages are correct and stable. Try a new power adapter.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Thanks I had identified it was not a power cable problem. spoke to tech support India, did an upgrade of firmware which did not work, still amber light.They said to take in for serice? Is there any service centre in Senegal, Africa for DLink? Cant ind online...

Ask them whee you can get it serviced. You may just need a new one.
