Heat

From the user manual: Allow 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space to the front and back of the device.

Who are you kidding?? This is a home router. It is never going to have 3 feet front and back.
Does this imply the unit has heat problems and this is the legal basis to deny warranty if it fails and was not positioned in the middle of the room?

This not a home class router.

We always recommend 3 feet minimum distance and area to allow for good air flow and ventilation and isolation from other electronics. This is normal and standard configurations thru out the industry.
