A fix for the KRACK Attack (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KRACK) is long awaited for many models of DLink cameras (https://securityadvisories.dlink.com/announcement/publication.aspx?name=SAP10075) (as well as many devices, IoT or not, from many manufacturers).

An 8 month wait going on, and on, and on...

Only truly reliable solution for this problem is using an Ethernet cable for the models with such a port and disable Wifi access on the camera(s).

Some of the older products are taking a long time since the vendor/chipset manufactures  may not be supported anymore.

Remember KRACK can only be exploited if a hacker is within your wireless range and waits until either your router reboots and your clients reconnect, or you reboot your camera and the hacker waits for that 10 second window where the camera negotiates with your router. I am not discounting this exploit at all, but the hacker has a small window of attack.  Make sure your router and all your Wi-Fi  clients (phone, tablets, computers, TVs, media players, cameras, etc) are updated.

I sent an email to the security team for a status update.
