« on: November 02, 2013, 05:48:31 PM »

Having an issue getting my dlink.com to  work on windows 8.1...I have it running on older versions of windows and smart phones...can not get it to connect on 8...seems to be an issue with the Activex controls...I can't seem to download and install...(new to windows 8 (laptop) a couple of days)

Thanks in advance...

Did you resolve? I upgraded to IE11 on a W7 box and now mydlink functionalty is broken. Seems to be an IE11 problem. This is lame on he part of DLINK especially given the duration of the broken usability!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may not be a issue with D-Link as you said as it seems to be only happening after you updated to IE11.

If you need this to work sooner, it's best advised for you to phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get immediate help and information.

Good Luck.

Waste of time. They aint gonna do anything. Tech support doesn't have the power or brain bandwith to address such.

You need to ask for level 2 or 3 tech support.

How is it not an issue with DLINK? They are responsible for ensuring compatibility with the latest browser and OS. For a major revamp I can understand but IE11 is not a major revamp from IE10. Its a major miss for DLINK and absolutely screws the installed user base.  Proof:
