Title: Unable To Manually Map Drives.
Post by: mjaafar on August 12, 2021, 02:10:38 PM
Hi

Windows 10 - 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1165)
Current NAS Firmware Version - 1.05 (Updated to 1.05b04(1.04.1107.2016))
Current OLED Firmware Version - 1.04
Firmware Date   11/07/2016
SMB 1.0/CIFS Automatic Removal - Checked
SMB 1.0/CIFS Client - Checked
SMB 1.0/CIFS Server - UnChecked
SMB Direct - Checked

As the titles says, I'm unable to map drives using "Map Network Drive" in "This PC" window
It keeps asking for my credentials for the IP address I set it on, but the password gets rejected.

The only way I was able to map them is by using "D-Link Storage Utility(5.1.0.2)_20110728" app
And whenever I right click on any .zip file I get the windows 10 "this might be harmful do you want to carry on" dialogue box.
What's odd is, .rars don't give me the same issue, only .zip do.

Under the security tab
I tried setting permissions to allow everything but I get
"Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access Denied"
and the same thing happens under "Advance Security"

And under "Group or usernames" I have
Everyone
Root (Unix User\root)
Root (Unix Group\root)

Any help with would be great
and thanks for taking the time to take a look.
