hi folks,
what method gives most control over camera operation rather than pleasing UI?
mydlink portal vs direct camera control via its IP?
-
Direct camera with it's UI.

thought so. nice to have it confirmed. i've port forwarded it so am able to control her camera in Australia using FF in wincp from here in UK. Amazing technology.

You can also use TeamViewer as a remote PC control if you need to help with any PC configurations or router configurations on her end as well. I use this to help people with there routers sometimes. ;)
-
i'm afraid thats beyond her patience level to let me walk her through the set up. pity it wpuld be very useful.
-
That's were teamviewer comes in, You can connect to her PC and do all the work there. She can sit and watch you or go off else where. ;D
-
yes but getting her to install Teamviewer initially on hers is a place too far for her!! no matter the benefits.
-
Any friend, family or neighbor that can help with this? Would be good if you can get it installed. If possible. ::)
-
can but try.
